It was a heartwarming reminder of why we love baseball.

Video of a Blue Jays fan handing an Aaron Judge home run ball to a young New York Yankees fan went viral for all of the right reasons.

Judge’s homer at Rogers Centre Tuesday fell at the feet of an adult Blue Jays fan, just a few seats from a boy wearing a Yankees cap and Judge jersey. The man immediately reached out to offer the ball to the kid, who couldn’t believe it. The kid thanks him and burst into joyful tears as they embrace.

“That’s passion right there, that’s Yankees fans right there,” Judge said when told of the moment. “That’s what’s special about this game. That’s pretty cool. I’ve got to check out that video.”

The Yankees won 9-1.
