Watch the slide play that led to Texas Rangers’ opening day loss
The Texas Rangers lost their home opener Monday when the umpires reviewed a slide by catcher Mitch Garver and ruled that he committed slide interference.
The Colorado Rockies asked for a replay review in the bottom of the 10th inning after second baseman Brendan Rodgers’ errant throw allowed a run to score. The Rangers lost 6-4.
