Texas Rangers to sell $10 tickets during event from Black Friday to Cyber Monday
The Texas Rangers are offering $10 tickets for nearly every 2022 game at Globe Life Field during a four-day, post-Thanksgiving event.
The $10-ticket offer will be available for 80 of the 81 regular season games in 2022, with only exemption being the team’s Opening Day game on March 31 against the New York Yankees. The special sale will only be available from 12:00 a.m. on Nov. 26 to 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 29. Details of the Black Friday through Cyber Monday special can be found at texasrangers.com/specials.
Seats available at the special $10 price are located in selected sections on the 200 and 300 levels and Corner Mezzanine areas of Globe Life Field. There will be a limit of eight tickets per order. The team said that there will be a limited number of these reduced-priced tickets available for certain series during April.
The Rangers also announced the game times and promo schedule for the 2022 season, during which the organization will celebrate the team’s 50th anniversary in Arlington. The club mark the milestone with a special logo and special promotional game giveaways, including commemorating players and events from the first 50 years in Arlington.
The Rangers promotional giveaways include includes bobbleheads of Adrian Beltre, Juan Gonzalez, Charley Pride, Ivan Rodriguez, Nolan Ryan, Jim Sundberg, and Michael Young. Other items include sets of Rangers baseball cards for each of the five decades, replica jersey T-shirts from 1972, 1984, and 1994, a commemorative Nolan Ryan pitching rubber, and a 50th anniversary Mt. Crushmore statue featuring the top four home run hitters in club history: Beltre, Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, and Ivan Rodriguez.
More details on the promotional schedule, including quantities and other special 50th anniversary events will be announced at a later time.
The regular game time at Globe Life Field will remain at 7:05 p.m. for weekdays; 3:05 p.m. for Saturday games, except for those in June and July when first pitch moves back to 6:05 p.m.; and 1:35 p.m. for Sunday games. The schedule also includes seven 1:05 p.m. games on selected Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The season opener against the Yankees is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. March 31. The Rangers-Yankees game on April 2 is scheduled at 1:35 p.m. because of 2022 WrestleMania taking place at AT&T Stadium that night.
