Here’s how the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field made history with Topps baseball cards
For all those baseball card enthusiasts out there, as well as Texas Rangers fans, take a closer look at the Elvis Andrus and Shin-Soo Choo cards from the Topps Series 2 collection that debuted late last month.
Those two cards feature a Globe Life Field inaugural season logo, marking the first time in Topps history that the card company has celebrated a new ballpark with an on-card logo.
The photos of the players are, obviously, from last season. The logo on Andrus’ base card No. 577 is in the lower right corner while the logo on Choo’s card is on the lower left corner.
There is a short-print variation of Andrus’ card that does not include the logo.
