Pitching: Colby Lewis allowed four runs on seven hits, including three homers, in three innings in his last spring start. Lewis and Opening Day starter Yovani Gallardo combined to allow six runs on 11 hits in six innings. Lewis struck out two and walked one; Gallardo had one strikeout. Left-handed reliever Sam Freeman was touched for four runs on five hits in 2/3 of an inning.

Hitting: One of the Rangers’ top young prospects, Nomar Mazara, homered to left-center field in the third. Delino DeShields Jr. hit his fourth double of the spring, a two-out, run-scoring shot to the left-field corner.

Notable: Rangers finished with a 9-18-4 record in Arizona, and have exhibition games against the Mets on Friday and Saturday at Globe Life Park in Arlington. ... If the Rangers lose both, they’ll set a franchise record for most losses in spring training. ... Center fielder Delino DeShields Jr. made several long running catches in both gaps.
