Adrian Beltre hopes to play Saturday if calf strain eases
Rangers veteran Adrian Beltre hopes to play in Saturday’s exhibition at Globe Life Park but will wait to see how his right calf strain responds to Friday’s workout.
He ran for the first time before Friday’s game. He woke up with tightness in his calf on Monday and has seen little action since.
Beltre, who turns 38 on April 7, strained his left hamstring on Feb. 14 and took it slow the first couple of weeks of spring training.
