All-Star on a budget? Here’s how to get the most bang for your buck at the midsummer classic
Fans in search of souvenirs at Tuesday’s All-Star Game have options galore at Globe Life Field.
From collectible pins to T-shirts and jerseys, the Grand Slam Team Store carries the widest selection of All-Star merchandise for both leagues’ teams.
Collectible pins start at $10, and there’s a range of novelty items including mugs, cups, blankets and magnets.
All-Star T-shirts are in the $40 range and come in a variety of designs, including mock-jerseys and shirts with the All-Star Game’s Texas logo.
The store has both National and American League replica jersey options starting at $205 with a player’s name affixed.
Blank jerseys go for $175 and can be customized with any name and number for an additional fee of $50.
The store’s most expensive option is a $425 authentic jersey, made to the exact specifications that an All-Star player would wear on the field.
Toward the back of the store, fans can find a wall of New Era hats licensed with every MLB team who have a player on the All-Star roster.
The team store is also well-stocked with Rangers-specific options, like the team’s City Connect jersey and select World Series merchandise.
Fans seeking a convenient grab-and-go experience can find merchandise at one of Globe Life’s Easy Out locations, equipped with Amazon RFID technology.
The kiosks eliminate the checkout process, as fans select merchandise with specialized tags that automatically ring up as they pass through a gate on the way out.
The locations carry a limited selection of men’s, women’s and youth clothing.
