Elite golfers gather in Fort Worth for Kathy Whitworth Junior Girls Invitational

Kennedy Pedigo of Texas Connections Academy in Houston will be among the 72 elite golfers competing in the Kathy Whitworth Junior Girls Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Mira Vista Golf and Country Club in Fort Worth.

Tee times are 8:30 a.m. each day on holes 1 and 10.

Pedigo, who attended Paschal High School for two years before attending TCA, has committed to SMU. Also in the field are Baylor commit Evelyn Arguelles of Mexico and University of Texas commit Maren Cipolla of New York.

Eighteen states and 10 countries will be represented in the event, which benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth.
