North Texas Shootout gets 3-year sponsorship extension

The North Texas Shootout and Volunteers of America agreed to a three-year sponsorship extension, the LPGA announced Thursday.

The event in April marked the first year that Volunteers of America became title sponsor of the event after serving as a presenting sponsor for the first two editions of the tournament.

The 2016 Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout will return to Las Colinas Country Club in Irving from April 28 - May 1.

The women’s tournament has a $1.3 million purse. Inbee Park will return to defend her title.

Volunteers of America is a national, nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need live healthy, safe and productive lives.
