The Texas Women’s Open begins Tuesday at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington.

The two-day, 36-hole stroke play event with no cut will feature 132 professional and amateur contestants on the par 71 course. The golfers will be competing for an estimated overall purse of $30,000.

This week’s field will include many past Texas Women’s Open champions including: 2014 champion Ashley Knoll of The Woodlands; 2013 champion Christi Cano of San Antonio; 2009 champion Katy Jarochowicz of Flinders, Australia; 2008 champion Tanya Wadhwa of McKinney; and 2006 champion Carolyn Creekmore of Dallas.
