Rahm is the first two-time winner of the Fort Worth-based Ben Hogan Award (2015 and 2016).
With Rahm’s addition, the Colonial now has seven of the top 10 golfers along with Rory McIlroy (No. 1), Brooks Koepka (No. 3), Dustin Johnson (No. 5), Patrick Reed (No. 7), Webb Simpson (No. 9) and Tommy Fleetwood (No. 10).
Rahm wasn’t the only notable addition on Tuesday.
Reigning U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland is also scheduled to play. Woodland, ranked No. 18 in the world, will be making his first appearance since 2012.
