Dean & DeLuca’s Prince Street Marketplace, across the large practice area by the ninth hole at Colonial Country Club, is set to open at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Some local merchants are in the mix this year at the 1,800-square-foot shop.

Fort Worth-based Avoca coffee roaster beans will be available, and served on tap – as opposed to brewed coffee poured out of a pitcher.

Dallas-based Kate Weiser’s French macaron cookies, not to be confused with American macroons, will be sold in a five-piece set.

There’s also cheesecake from Fort Worth-based Texas Cheeseckake Co., with their plain, key lime and turtle toffee items.

“We brought more local flavor into the store the year,” said Josh Hodapp, the compnay’s vice president of retail operations.

The cheesecake is made by Fort Worth Police Lt. Robin Krouse, who’s also in charge of security at Colonial.

Also new is soft serve ice cream: double chocolate, coconut, wild strawberry, and cardamom vanilla – in cones and cups.
