Matt Damon spotted at a World Cup match in Miami. He had company

We aren’t sure what team Matt Damon was rooting for Saturday night because he was wearing a polo and not a jersey. But we are 100% positive he had a good time.

The “Bourne Identity” star was pictured grinning widely in the stands at the FIFA World Cup Portugal vs. Colombia matchup at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. That’s thanks to the company — he was sandwiched between two comic heavyweights.

On one side, Hollywood legend John Leguizamo, the other “SNL” breakout cast member and Kendall native Marcelo Hernandez.

Damon is apparently a soccer fan from his marriage to an Argentine, land of Lionel Messi, for 20 years, Luciana Barroso. The Oscar winner, 55, told “Hot Ones” host Sean Evans in an April episode that the sport is taken way more seriously over there. He recounted attending an “absolutely crazy” Boca Juniors match, which was crawling with cops in riot gear, and no women or children were allowed due to safety concerns.

We didn’t spy Barroso, 49, on Saturday, but she and her famous husband, parents of four, have a romantic connection to South Florida. Their how-they-met story is cute.

Barroso once dished to Vogue Australia that Damon was shooting the Farrelly Brothers 2003 conjoined twins comedy “Stuck on You” in Miami Beach. After scenes wrapped one night, he and the crew headed to now-defunct hotspot Crobar on Washington Avenue for a few. Barroso, a single mom to her then 4-year-old daughter whom Damon later adopted, was working the bar that night.

Soon enough, patrons figured out there was a movie star in their midst and began clamoring to meet him, so Damon ducked behind the bar to hide. Barroso, who had no idea who he was, joked that he could stay there, but would need to work.

“I said: ‘You know, if you’re going to be back here, you can’t just be standing there!’ He had trained as a bartender for a film years before [1997’s “The Rainmaker”] so he started making drinks. And he made me a ton of money in tips ... because of course everyone wanted to go and see him. So it turned into a really fun night.”

As for the fun night at the stadium, Damon didn’t get to see any goals, even from futbol’s other GOAT, Cristiano Ronaldo.
