Organizers reveal details for upcoming FIFA Fan Festival in Dallas
As the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes closer to kickoff, the North Texas FWC Organizing Committee and City of Dallas shared details for the FIFA Fan Festival, explaining what fans can expect.
FIFA Fan Festival Dallas will be in the Pavilion at Fair Park, lots nine and 10, and run from June 11 to July 19.
The event will broadcast the game on several giant screens, a mini-pitch, skills activities, with local food vendors and a beer garden and will also have live concerts.
North Texas FWC Organizing Committee president Monica Paul talked about what food options will be viable as well as entertainment.
“Local food vendors will include traditional Texan fair in addition to concessions and a beer garden as part of FIFA fan festival Dallas, vegan, vegetarian, kosher and halal food options will also be available. FIFA fan festival Dallas will feature North Texas performers, including music, dance and cultural performances,” Paul said.
Dallas City Councilman Jesse Moreno talked about what most excited him about bringing this event to the city.
“I’m most excited about showing off Dallas and everything that we have to offer. Yes, we’re going to have lots of people from around the world, but what’s most exciting for me is that they’re going to feel the vibrancy of Dallas. They’re going to be able to experience what Dallas sites get to experience every single day of the week,” said Moreno.
He also explained why it was important for the event to be free to the public.
“Look, we know that we’re going to have nine matches here in the city of Dallas, and that’s a lot of games, but we also know that it’s important for our community that does not have a ticket to one of the matches, that they’re able to feel part of the experience, and that’s why today’s so special that we’re going to have almost every single game of live stream here at Fair Park, free to the public, to our residents,” said Moreno.
The event will accommodate 35,000 people.
Acting ICE director Todd Lyons has preciously said that ICE will be at World Cup games and when asked what presence they could have at fan fest, councilman Adam Bazaldua said he wanted the city to be welcoming to all who come, regardless of origin.
“I can’t speak for the federal government, but I can speak for the local government, and I think we’ve made it very clear on what they’re going to get from us as far as collaboration. The last thing that we need to do is be posing even more of a threat or concern for anyone who’s traveling to our country. We are a welcoming city. We want to maintain being a welcoming city when we have opportunities like this to promote globalism and tourists from all over the world, we have to be able to highlight being a welcome city. We want people from all over to understand that we’ve got a lot to offer being Texas, we’ve got a lot to offer because everything is bigger in Texas, but we embrace their culture. We embrace their individuality and we want to highlight that and showcase that on the world stage this summer,” said Bazaldua.
The fan festival will open one hour prior to the day’s matches beginning and end one hour after the final match ends with the exceptions of games starting at 10 or 11 p.m.
Attendance is free for fans, but there will be a premium option which fans can pay for an upgraded experience, how to get tickets and how much those premium tickets will cost will be released at a later date.
