Edmond Allen’s 14-yard touchdown run with 3:09 left lifted Fort Worth Paschal past Burleson 38-28 Friday at Farrington Field, giving the Panthers their first win against Burleson in nine meetings.

Key players: Paschal’s Edwin Allen had 142 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, while Edmond Allen had 52 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns on nine carries. Burleson’s Hayden Whitten had 155 yards rushing and 63 passing.

Key stat: It’s Paschal’s first win against a suburban school since a 2013 defeat of Joshua.

Records: Burleson, 1-1; Paschal 2-0.
