Sachse rallies past Trophy Club Nelson in overtime

Eli Rusche connected with Tyler Milliken and Pascal Mondombo for two touchdowns apiece Friday night, but Trophy Club Nelson fell to Sachse 47-41 in overtime at Northwest ISD Stadium.

Key players: Sachse quarterback Jalen Mayden ran for two TDs and passed for two more. Nelson receivers Mondombo (125 yards, two TDs) and Milliken (139 yards, two TDs) were Rusche’s favorite targets. DJ Robinson had 106 yards and a score.

Key stat: Sachse had a 99-yard kickoff return for a TD and two blocked PATs.
