Dallas-Fort Worth area high school football winners in Week 4 from Benbrook, Sanger

Benbrook’s Dee Kennedy and Sanger’s Steven Bush were named players of the week and the Benbrook Bobcats were named team of the week after their performances in Week 4.

Kennedy, offensive POTW, picked up 85% of the votes after rushing for 181 yards and 2 TDs in the district opener vs Castleberry.

Western Hills RB Jason Green came in second with 162 yards rushing and 3 TDs vs. Diamond Hill-Jarvis.

Bush edged out Benbrook’s Roderick Hodge for defensive POTW. Bush made 7 tackles and recovered a fumble vs. Canton as Sanger improved to 4-0.

The Bobcats ran away with team of the week voting. They beat the Lions for their first win of the season.
