Houston, Kansas State, Utah among Top 8 schools for Arlington Bowie 3-star prospect

Arlington Bowie rising senior wide receiver Jimmy Valsin announced his Top 8 schools via Twitter: Oregon State, Houston, Indiana, Syracuse, Colorado, Kansas State, Illinois and Utah.

The 3-star prospect is ranked as the No. 113 WR in the country and No. 104 overall in Texas, according to 247Sports.

He holds 21 offers, which also included Cincinnati, UConn, Hawaii, San Diego State and Kansas.

Valsin, who also ran track, was a first-team all-district selection last season as he helped the Volunteers go 8-4 and make a trip in the area round.

Valsin recorded 33 catches, 659 yards and eight touchdowns.
