Baylor lands commitment from 3-star Mansfield Summit wide receiver Hal Presley

Mansfield Summit 3-star receiver Hal Presley announced his commitment to Baylor via Twitter on Saturday.

Texas, Michigan, Michigan State, Utah, Cal, Arkansas, Louisville, Ole Miss and USC were also in the running after Presley announced his Top 10 in April. TCU had also offered Presley.

“First, I want to give all the glory to God for allowing me to be in this position. Thank you for my family for always being there for me,” Presley said in a tweet.

The 2021 recruit, who’s been a 7-6A all-district selection the past two seasons. made 45 catches in 2019 for 875 yards and eight touchdowns, and was named all-district first team.

He was named district offensive sophomore of the year in 2018 after recording 400 yards and five TDs.

Presley held 25 offers, 20 from Power Five schools.

Summit posted a 7-4 record with a playoff appearance last season. The Jaguars went 4-3 in district play.

Presley is ranked as the No. 63 WR in the nation and No. 56 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports.
