Fort Worth Paschal will have new head football coach as Chris James won’t return
After two seasons and a 5-15 record, Chris James won’t return as Fort Worth Paschal’s head football coach for the 2020 season.
James confirmed via text on Thursday.
“I knew in December I was going to leave. Wanted to make sure realignment, new schedule and signing day was handled,” James said in the text.
James was hired at Paschal in March of 2018 after he spent the previous eight seasons at Crowley, where he won three district titles and was the winningest coach in program history with a 50-37 record.
Paschal went 3-11 the last two seasons in District 4-6A, including 1-6 in 2019. The Panthers posted a 2-8 overall record.
