North Side pulls away late in win over Diamond Hill-Jarvis

Fort Worth North Side defeated Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis on Friday night at Farrington Field in Fort Worth 53-21.

North Side pulled away in the fourth quarter with three late touchdowns. The North Side offense moved the ball steadily and was lead by quarterback Isaak Rosales with 183 passing yards to charge ahead for the victory. The Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles were led on offense by Eddrick Hampton but were hurt by 10 penalties on the night.

Game was over when: Steers wide receiver Da’Wain Lofton caught a 21-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter, followed on the next drive by Isaak Rosales touchdown run.

Play of the game: Eagles running back Eddrick Hampton took the ball on the first play from scrimmage and ran for a 68-yard touchdown.

Offensive Player of the game: North Side wide receiver Andrew Anguiano caught 8 passes for 157 yards.

Defensive Player of the game: The Steers secondary forced four interception on the night.

Unsung Hero of the Game: The North Side defensive line who applied pressure and kept the Eagles running game in check.
