Arlington 77, El Paso Montwood 42

The Colts amassed 775 yards of offense and 11 touchdowns Saturday in a rout of the Rams in a 6A Division II area playoff game at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. Arlington meets Southlake Carroll (9-3) on Saturday night at the Ford Center in Frisco.

Key players: Arlington quarterback D’Montae Davis accounted for 330 yards of offense and five total touchdowns, including three first-half touchdown runs as the Colts jumped out to a quick 28-0 lead. Montwood quarterback Andrew Fernandez concluded a record setting career with 492 passing yards and six touchdown passes. Fernandez passed for more than 7,800 yards with 87 touchdown passes.

Key stat: The teams combined for 1,354 yards, and the 119 total points is a playoff-game record at 35-year-old Ratliff Stadium.
