Mansfield Summit 21, Crowley 2

The victorious Jaguars used a stout defense that limited the Eagles to 98 yards in a 5A Division I game. The Jaguars offense stalled at times in the first half as well, holding a meager 7-2 lead at halftime before putting the game away with two fourth-quarter scores.

Key players: Summit quarterback Brysen McKinney threw for 131 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Jorian Curry on three passes for 77 yards and a score. Richard Chark rushed for 99 yards on 17 carries and added a touchdown.

Key stat: Crowley running back Dominique Johnson led the Eagles with 45 yards on 16 carries.

Records: Mansfield Summit 7-4, Crowley 6-5
