The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is back on the football recruiting trail, and here’s a list of more than 50 prospects from across the Metroplex.

The buzz this week is the start of the Texas high school football playoffs, but National Signing Day is not far behind.

There’s an early signing period Dec. 20-22, followed by the traditional big day in February. This time it’s Feb. 7, 2018.

Most of the top prospects in Dallas-Fort Worth are committed and ready to ink their names on that special day with family and friends.

Some will announce their commitments before then, while some will do it on the big day. Others will elect to sign during the early period next month.
