Dunbar dominates Polytechnic in season finale

Dunbar overwhelmed Polytechnic in a penalty-plagued contest at Scarborough-Handley Field in District 8-5A action Friday night. Dunbar fumbled away the opening kickoff. However, Polytechnic fumbled away on both of its first two possessions. They were the only turnovers of the first half as both teams settled down after that.
Key players: Paris Jackson ran for a pair of 55-yard touchdowns in the first half. Jackson also returned a fumble 68 yards for a score in the third quarter. Sir Quinces Stewart also had a pair of rushing touchdowns of 12 and 24 yards each.
Key stat: Dunbar led 36-0 at halftime. The two teams combined for 227 yards in penalties.
