Keller wide receiver tip toes toward a touchdown
With two games left, Thursday’s match between Keller (4-4 overall, 2-2 in District 3-6A) and Abilene (2-6, 1-3) had playoff implications.
Thanks to Keller junior receiver Colton Nelson, the Indians are a half away from being a step closer to the postseason.
Nelson caught a pass from junior quarterback Sloan Henry and tight-roped the sideline for a touchdown and 7-0 lead.
The Indians led Abilene 20-14 at halftime.
