Fort Worth Arlington Heights thwarts Wyatt behind QB’s key plays
Fort Worth Arlington Heights junior Deontre Jones threw a 22-yard touchdown pass and set up a score with a 40-yard run as the Yellow Jackets defeated Fort Worth Wyatt 22-16 on Friday at Farrington Field.
Key players: Arlington Heights running back Darius McCloud had 15 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown for the Yellow Jackets. Wyatt senior wide receiver Dre’shone Askey hauled in a 2-yard touchdown catch and finished with 60 yards receiving for the Chaparrals. Heights dual threat Jones had 15 carries for 94 yards.
