Euless Trinity gets a pick but still trails Southlake Carroll
Southlake Carroll was nearing the end zone when it faced a third down at the Euless Trinity 25.
Quarterback Will Bowers dropped back to pass and was hit by a Trinity defender, and the ball was intercepted by junior defensive back Soti Leota at the three yard line. He returned it to the Trojan 23.
Carroll has since scored twice for a 17-0 lead in the second quarter.
