Trimble Tech scores early and often against Carter-Riverside

Trimble Tech reached the end zone on each of its first five possessions to take a 36-0 lead into halftime, as neither team scored in the second half with a running clock. Riverside had a chance to make it close early, advancing well into Bulldog territory on two of its first four possessions, but a turnover on the Tech 18 and a stalled drive inside the 30 ended those chances.

Key players: Trimble Tech QB Vince Burton sparked the Bulldogs with 264 yards passing and two TDs, and Tech WR Isaac Ramos caught three long plays for 123 yards. RB Keishawn Everly gained 60 yards on the ground and scored twice.

Key stat: The Bulldogs defense intercepted three passes and limited the Eagles to 135 total yards.
