Lake Ridge linebacker commits to Minnesota

Mansfield Lake Ridge senior linebacker Bryson Jackson is going to the Big Ten.

Jackson committed to Minnesota on Tuesday.

The three-star recruit was a first team all district pick in 10-5A, helping the Eagles to the third round of the playoffs. Jackson was second team last season as Lake Ridge was 5A Division I state runner up.

According to 247Sports, Jackson had 11 offers including Colorado State, Boise State, Fresno State, Houston, New Mexico, Nevada, North Texas, Texas State, Tulane and Southern Miss.
