Heights swarms North Side

Fort Worth Arlington Heights quarterback Jaiden Zackery threw six first-half touchdowns in a 77-0 defeat of Fort Worth North Side in a District 7-5A game Thursday at Clark Stadium.

Key players: Zackery completed 12 of 13 passes for 286 yards. Heights senior wideout Tariq Woolen caught three passes for 93 and three touchdowns. Brian Gonzalez had six receptions for 83 yards and a score. Heights got a pair of scores on returns. Jaden Wynn returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown, and Darius Williams returned the second-half kickoff 85 yards for a score.

Key stat: The Yellow Jackets’ offense tallied 381 yards on 26 plays from scrimmage, for an average of 14.7 yards per play.
