Week 8 high school football pick ’em
Only four weeks remain in the regular season for high school football, and the true contenders start to separate from the pretenders.
Last week wasn’t great; Tarrant County-area picks went just 25-11 with a few upsets thrown into the mix.
In Week 8, Thursday features rivalry games in Keller Central and Keller, and Hurst L.D. Bell and Euless Trinity. Saginaw Boswell visits Justin Northwest in 6-5A in a battle of undefeated district teams.
Maybe the biggest game of the year is Friday night, when 6-0 teams Grapevine and Richland meet in what could decide the District 8-5A title.
We liked road teams in Week 7, but it’s all about home field this week; in the 33 games, 25 home teams will find a way to win.
