Byron Nelson shocks Trinity in overtime

Tanner Keough sent the extra point through the uprights in the first overtime and Byron Nelson rushed the field after shocking Euless Trinity 21-20 at Pennington Field. Trinity scored on the first drive in OT with a 22-yard run by Greg Garner, but the extra-point snap bounced in front of the holder and the Trojans were stopped at the 1-yard line on the 2-point attempt.
The Bobcats took advantage in just two plays, getting the score from Jordan Joiner on a 23-yard run and a successful kick for its first win of the season.
Key Players: Nelson running back Jordan Joiner scored three times, including his second carry in overtime as he rushed for 61 yards on 20 carries. Nelson quarterback Eli Rusche completed 21 passes for 194 yards.
Key stat: Trinity had nine penalties for 95 yards, including a negated go-ahead score late in the fourth on a holding call.
