Dallas Parish Episcopal storms back to beat FW Nolan Catholic

Nolan Catholic jumped out to a 21-0 lead, but Parish Episcopal stormed back for a 41-27 victory in the Dallas school’s first TAPPS Division I game.

Key players: Nolan’s Rory Mitchell had touchdown runs of 75, 1 and 35 yards, and Nathan Cornwall returned a fumble 8 yards for a Nolan score. Parish quarterback Jeremy Hodge, a New Mexico State commit, rushed for 111 yards, and Jeremy Winston added 157 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

Key stat: Mitchell carried 32 times for 260 yards.

Records: Nolan Catholic 1-3, 0-1 TAPPS DI; Parish Episcopal 3-1, 1-0.
