Northwest routs district neighbor Haslet Eaton

Justin Northwest scored on a 75-yard pass on its first play from scrimmage, and never looked back as the Texans routed Haslet Eaton 54-19 Friday at Northwest ISD Stadium in the District 6-5A opener. It was the first contest between the NISD schools as Eaton is fielding a varsity team for the first time.

Key players: Northwest RB Syrus Moore rushed 16 times for 207 yards and two TDs. Eaton running back Titus Swen rushed 33 times for 105 yards, and caught seven passes for 89 yards and three TDs.
