All Saints controls Nolan Catholic in shutout

Fort Worth All Saints took advantage of field position and two turnovers in the first half to cruise to a 27-0 win over Nolan Catholic at Doskocil Stadium.

The game was put away by All Saints midway through the fourt quarter when DQ McKinney returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown. All Saints’ Thurman Hogan carried much of the load for the Saints. He scored from the 5. Cade Farr also caught a 23-yard TD pass from Logan Britt for the Saints.

Key players: Hogan finished the night with 57 yards on 15 carries and the score for All Saints. The Saints’ Logan Medina also recorded an interception. Saints QB Shaun Taylor passed for 120 yards. The Vikings’ Damon Ramirez did get a first-quarter interception.

Key stat: Nolan had just five plays on Saints side of field in the first half.

Records: All Saints 1-2, Nolan Catholic 1-2.
