Ball control helps Flower Mound Marcus hold off Mansfield
The combination of quarterback Michael Henry and running back Justin Dinka combined for 269 yards rushing to hold off a Mansfield rally for a 41-31 victory in a nondistrict game at Flower Mound. Mansfield’s Kennedy Brooks almost matched that total on his own, gaining 239 yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns. The Tigers got to within three points early in the fourth quarter before the Marauders sealed the victory with a late touchdown.
