Coach of the Year

Brooke Brittain, Arlington Martin

Brittain was voted District 4-6A Coach of the Year and for good reason. She led the Warriors to their best season in program history. Martin finished 35-5, its most wins in a season and made the trip to the regional tournament for the first time.

The Warriors went 16-0 for their first undefeated district title since 1998.

It was also Brittain first district championship with Martin in 10 years.

Martin’s only losses came against the top competitors: 6A state champ Duncanville, 6A No. 3 Houston Cypress Creek, 6A No. 7 South Grand Prairie, 5A No. 1 Amarillo and 4A No. 1 Canyon.
