Dallas-Fort Worth high school girls basketball winners in Week 6 from Mansfield, Martin
Mansfield’s Zarria Carter and the Arlington Martin Lady Warriors were voted the DFW girls basketball player and team of the week.
Carter, who received 33%, was voted player of the week after scoring 25 points vs. Katy Seven Lakes.
Keller’s Cambridge Mathews came in second with 27% after scoring 22 points vs. Timber Creek.
DeSoto’s Amina Muhammad came in third with 21% after scoring 17 points vs. Plano.
Country Day’s Kenzi Carter came in fourth with 19% after scoring 25 points vs. Keene.
Martin was voted team of the week with 51%. The Warriors went on the road and won the Pflugerville tournament.
Keller came in second with 39% after the Indians captured the crown at the Northeast Lions Club tourney.
