Dallas-Fort Worth high school boys basketball winners in Week 5 from Grapevine, Haltom
Grapevine’s Jackson Waggoner and the Haltom Buffalos were voted DFW boys basketball player and team of the week.
Waggoner was voted player of the week after scoring a game-high 25 points vs. Keller Central. He hit seven 3-pointers in a Mustangs victory.
Waxahachie’s CJ Noland came in second after registering 17 points and 11 boards vs. Guyer.
Haltom was voted team of the week after the Buffs won the Northeast Lions Club tourney
Waxahachie came in second after winning the Mansfield ISD Spring Creek tourney.
