It’s been a big week for Mansfield Legacy High School with two players taken in the NFL Draft.

First, TCU wide receiver Josh Doctson was selected in the first round Thursday night by the Washington Redskins. Doctson was the 22nd overall pick.

On Friday, Boise State guard Rees Odhiambo was taken in the third round by the Seattle Seahawks. Odhiambo was the 97th overall pick.

The 6-foot-4, 314-pound Odhiambo was a two-time all-conference player at Boise State.

In two years, Mansfield Legacy has had three former players drafted in the NFL.

In 2015, Tevin Mitchel was drafted in the sixth round by the Washington Redskins out of Arkansas. He is now with the Indianapolis Colts.

All three players were coach by Chris Melson at Legacy.
