Why Mansfield won: A first-half goal by Natalie Gibbs and second-half strikes by Paige Rotto and Julie Shahi were enough for Mansfield to win 3-1 and advance to the area round.

Key players: Mansfield center backs Rachel Downey and Avery Underwood were organized and effective, allowing Heritage nothing through the middle of the field. Shine Pickler scored the Panthers’ goal on a header in the 79th minute.

Key stat: After having the better chances in the first half, Mansfield took control in the second half, dominating possession and totaling 13 shots, with seven on goal, to just three shots for Heritage.

Records: Mansfield 17-2-2; Colleyville Heritage 5-14-3
