Mansfield Timberview boys fall in basketball regional semifinals
Why West Mesquite won: The Wranglers advanced to the Class 5A Region II finals, riding three consecutive 3-pointers from Andre Watts in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter. His efforts turned a two-point edge into a 10-point lead they were able to maintain.
Key players: Watts hit seven 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 28 points. Sophomore Chris Mullins scored 16 of his 23 points in the second half to keep Timberview close.
