L.D. Bell girls subdue Richland behind third-quarter run

Why Hurst Bell won: The Blue Raiders took the lead for good with a 7-0 run to start the third quarter, and pulled away late with free throws following two technical fouls on the Richland bench, one for calling a timeout with none left at the end of the game.

Key performers: Bell got 31 combined points from post Tatyana Bradley and forward Lexi Gordon, who also had 15 rebounds. Guard Destiny Winkfield scored 14 points for Richland.

Key statistic: The Raiders hit 16 of 26 free throw attempts while the Rebels were 4-of-9.
