Player of the Year: Lucas Nawrocki, senior, Aledo

Pitcher of the Year: Cole Koeninger, senior, Keller

Offensive Player of the Year: Grady Emerson, senior, Fort Worth Christian

Coach of the Year: Rob Stramp, Keller

All-Area First Team

Pitchers

Owen Settle, senior, Fort Worth Paschal

Settle, an ACU signee and Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Elite selection, earned back-to-back District 7-5A Pitcher of the Year honors before capping his prep career with an 8-2 record, 1.39 ERA, 0.886 WHIP and 91 strikeouts in 55 innings.

Will McIntire, junior, Boyd

The Texas A&M commit was the engine of Boyd’s 3A Division I state championship run, going 12-1 with a 0.28 ERA, 139 strikeouts and just 11 walks in 74 1/3 innings, allowing just one earned run in the playoffs. At the plate, he hit .405 with 19 doubles, 45 RBIs and a .507 on-base percentage while adding 14 stolen bases. McIntire earned District 10-3A Pitcher of the Year and THSBCA All-State honors.

Infield

Ethan Tucker, senior, Fort Worth Benbrook

Tucker, the District 8-4A Offensive Player of the Year and THSBCA All-State Elite Team selection, hit .429 with four home runs, 10 doubles and 45 RBIs for the Bobcats.

Landon Barnes, senior, Aledo

The Weatherford JC commit and THSBCA All-State Elite selection earned District 5-5A Offensive MVP honors after hitting .467 with 42 RBIs for the Bearcats.

Sebastian Castillo Aleman, junior, Byron Nelson

Castillo, an LSU pledge and a two-way standout, hit .438 at the plate while earning District 4-6A Defensive Player of the Year honors at shortstop. He flashes a fastball that can touch 94 mph and also earned THSBCA All-State recognition.

Xander Thacker, senior, Boswell

Thacker, a competitive powerlifter and THSBCA All-State shortstop, was a force on both sides of the ball, hitting .412 with a .508 on-base percentage and 1.263 OPS at the plate while posting a 0.76 ERA, eight saves, and 50 strikeouts in 27.2 innings on the mound while fighting through arm injury. He held opposing hitters to a .133 average and finished with a 0.940 WHIP.

Catcher

Xavi Medina, junior, Burleson

The District 8-5A Defensive MVP was as reliable as they come behind the plate, posting a .995 fielding percentage in 216 total chances over 167 innings caught while allowing just two passed balls. At the plate, Medina hit .403 with 13 doubles and 22 RBIs in 77 at-bats.

Outfield and utility

Matthew Hernandez, junior, Fort Worth Paschal

Hernandez, the District 7-5A MVP and 2026 Star-Telegram Hometown Hero, is drawing attention from power five programs after going 9-1 with a 0.96 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 58 innings. He can touch 94 mph with his fastball. As a hitter, he was a solid contributor with a .296 average, five home runs and 33 RBIs.

Evan O’Connor, senior, Brock

O’Connor, an Arizona State signee, was an absolute force for Brock, earning District 6-4A MVP honors and leading the Eagles to the Class 4A Division II state championship game.

Jacob Keuss, junior, Eaton

Keuss earned District 4-6A First Team honors with a standout .467 district batting average.

Wilson Sehnem, senior, Aledo

A THSBCA All-State selection, Sehnem hit .383 with 30 RBIs for the Bearcats in a run to consecutive Class 5A Division I state titles.

Luke Esquivel, sophomore, Grapevine

Grapevine’s two-way ace and the 2025 Star-Telegram Player of the year continued his dominance while leading the Mustangs. Esquivel, an LSU pledge, recorded a .393 batting average.

Second Team All-Area

Travis Sample, senior, Mansfield

Sample, a TCU signee and District 3-6A MVP, surpassed 200 career strikeouts after going 6-2 with a 1.21 ERA, 107 strikeouts and a .148 batting average against in 57 2/3 innings. Sample also contributed at first base and in the lineup, hitting .326 with a .459 on-base percentage and 17 RBIs. He earned THSBCA All-State honors.

Connor Davenport, senior, Keller

Davenport, an ACU commit, was stellar in high-leverage situations, going 6-0 with four saves and a 1.99 ERA across 52 2/3 innings while tossing four shutouts, including a complete game no-hitter against Keller Central. He sealed the Indians’ UIL 6A Division I state title with a save in the championship game and earned District 4-6A Pitcher of the Year honors.

Infield

Sebastian Piria, senior, Fort Worth Paschal

The District 7-5A Offensive Player of the Year was consistent for the Panthers, hitting .429 with 10 doubles, 30 RBIs and a 1.039 OPS while striking out just five times in 117 plate appearances.

Kenson Buth, junior, Byron Nelson

Buth, a THSBCA All-State selection, hit .418 for the Bobcats and was one of the area’s steadiest contributors at the plate.

Mason Holleman, senior, Azle

A two-time District 5-5A First Team All-District selection and THSBCA All-State honoree, Holleman hit .423 with 36 hits, 11 doubles, five triples, three home runs and 36 RBIs in 30 games while posting a .514 on-base percentage. He is also the 2026 Star-Telegram Readers’ Choice Player of the Year.

Logan Brown, senior, Keller

The District 4-6A Offensive Player of the Year was a two-way cornerstone of the Indians’ state title run, hitting .398 with six home runs, 43 RBIs and a .536 on-base percentage while going 11-2 with a 1.71 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 65.1 innings on the mound.

Catcher

Stephen Webber, junior, Boyd

Webber was a cornerstone of the Yellowjackets’ 3A Division I state championship run, hitting .510 with 53 hits, four home runs and 50 RBIs while posting a .612 on-base percentage. Webber committed zero errors, finishing with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

Outfield and Utility

Christopher Bravo, junior, Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis

Bravo, the District 8-4A Pitcher of the Year and a THSBCA All-State selection, went 6-1 with a 1.73 ERA and 99 strikeouts while hitting .422 with eight triples, 30 runs scored and 21 stolen bases at the plate. He struck out just six times all season.

Luke Jowers, senior, Fort Worth Paschal

A two-sport standout who earned First Team All-District honors as both a linebacker and designated hitter, Jowers was one of the District 7-5A’s most dangerous bats, hitting .453 with five home runs, eight doubles and 24 RBIs while posting a 1.399 OPS in 81 plate appearances.

Brock Burkett, senior, Keller

A catalyst for the Indians’ lineup on their run to the 6A Division I state title, Burkett hit .348 with 62 runs scored, 35 stolen bases and a .492 on-base percentage. He earned District 4-6A First Team All-District honors and a spot on the UIL 6A Division I State Tournament Team.

Ethan Reitz, senior, Euless Trinity

Reitz was a staple for the Trojans in a run to the Class 6A Division I regional finals. He earned District 4-6A honors with a 1.49 district ERA.

Landon Smith, senior, Burleson

The District 8-5A Utility Player of the Year was one of the area’s most well-rounded contributors, hitting .468 with 52 hits, 12 doubles, 29 RBIs and 27 stolen bases while posting a .538 on-base percentage. He also posted a .975 fielding percentage with 11 double plays at shortstop and went 1-0 with a 1.85 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 11 1/3 innings on the mound.
