Southlake Carroll class of 2027 three-star lineman Tristan Dare announced his commitment to Missouri on Tuesday.

“Ready to rock the ZOU,” Dare wrote on X.

Dare was previously committed to Michigan, but decommitted in March. He has a 6-foot-4, 290-pound frame, and has experience against quality competition in Class 6A Texas high school football.

Dare, a District 4-6A first team selection and the only class of 2027 athlete to earn a Star-Telegram All-Area First Team selection as an offensive lineman, helped power the Dragons to a Class 6A Division II state semifinal appearance with 76 knockdowns and a 93% grade.

He collected offers from some premier programs, including Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, TCU, Texas Tech and more. He’ll be one of the top returning offensive linemen in the Fort Worth area, and 247Sports ranks him as the No. 117 player in Texas.
