Aledo three-star class of 2027 wide receiver Kingston “K1” Parks is reopening his recruitment, he said Wednesday on social media.

Parks was previously committed to Utah. He has offers from Arizona, North Texas and more ahead of his senior season.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to be a part of the University of Utah program.,” Parks wrote on X. “After a lot of thought and prayer, I’ve decided to decommit from the University of Utah and reopen my recruitment.”

Parks, 247Sports’ No. 174-ranked class of 2027 player in Texas, has a 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame. He is a versatile athlete with an ability to play defensive back on top of wide receiver.

He played at Arlington Oakridge as a junior last season before transferring to Aledo, helping lead the Owls to an undefeated season and an SPC Class 3A title. According to Max Preps, he averaged 43.4 receiving yards per game.

He attended North Crowley as a sophomore and was on the roster for the Panthers’ Class 6A Division I state championship victory, although he did not receive quality playing time as an underclassman.
