The TAPPS state swimming meet concluded Wednesday. See notable Fort Worth-area performances:

Division I boys

Buoyed by outstanding performances by senior Trifon Walser, Fort Worth Nolan finished sixth in the team standings with 166 points.

Walser captured Gold in the 200 and 500 Freestyle events, with winning times of 1:41.56 and 4:42.18, respectively. The former was four seconds ahead of the second place finisher, while Walser won the latter by almost seven seconds.

Division I girls

Bronze medals in the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay paced the Fort Worth Nolan contingency to a sixth place finish in the team standings with 163 points. A Nolan quartet swam a 1:56.91 in the 200 Medley and 3:50.60 in the 400 Freestyle.

Senior Olivia Leuschner, freshmen Kirsten Hernandez and Amabel Giesinger, teamed with sophomore Georgia Walser, comprising both relay units.

Giesinger narrowly missed medaling in the 500 Freestyle event, finishing fourth.

Division II boys

Fort Worth Christian, with 71 points, finished in the team standings 10th spot.

Freshman Hiro Nilsson had a banner meet for FW Christian, winning Gold in the 100 Breaststroke with a winning time of 59.49 and claiming Silver in the 100 Butterfly with a 54.23 mark, just behind senior Bo Collins of Arlington Grace Prep who posted a 54.09 Gold-winning time.

Collins turned in a stellar individual performance, also claiming Gold in the 200 Individual Medley with a winning time of 1:58.93.

Fort Worth Christian’s Colt Kipp picked up a pair of Silver medals — 1:59.01 in the 200 Individual Medley and 4:59.16 in the 500 Freestyle.

Division II girls

Grapevine Faith and FW Southwest Christian, with 105 and 103 points, placed ninth and 10th in the team standings, respectively.

Sophomore Stella Anderson of Grapevine Faith hauled in two medals, claiming Silver in the 200 Individual Medley with a 2:23.52 time, and capturing Bronze in the 100 Backstroke with a 1:05.20 time.
