Former Aledo and TCU quarterback Hauss Hejny has landed at a new program.

Hejny announced his commitment to Colorado State via social media Monday. Hejny, who entered the transfer portal Thursday, was previously at Oklahoma State.

Hejny, a former Star-Telegram Offensive Player of the Year, won the starting job but broke a bone in his foot in the season opener and never played again. Oklahoma State finished with a 1-11 record and finished winless in Big 12 play.

Hejny, who has four years of eligibility remaining, was rated as a four-star recruit coming out of Aledo, where he helped claim the Bearcats’ 12th state championship as a senior. He tallied 2,773 passing yards on 66% passing and 1,041 rushing yards with 40 total touchdowns.

In 2025, Colorado State finished with a 2-10 record (1-7 Mountain West). The Rams will turn to Hejny, a dual threat QB and a three-star transfer portal prospect, with hopes of turning things around.
