UIL realignment cutoff numbers: See where Fort Worth-area teams are heading

The University Interscholastic League released cutoff numbers for the upcoming 2026 realignment.

Key changes

It’s official: Aledo is rising to Class 6A with an enrollment well above the cutoff.

Granbury is also rising to Class 6A.

Mansfield Legacy is dropping to Class 5A Division I.

Mansfield Summit is rising to Class 5A Division I, while Joshua is dropping to Class 5A Division II.

A flurry of Fort Worth ISD schools are opting up, Fort Worth ISD told the Star-Telegram.

Fort Worth Wyatt, Fort Worth North Side, Fort Worth South Hills and Fort Worth Polytechnic turned in Class 5A Division II enrollments but will play in Class 5A Division I.

Fort Worth Benbrook, Fort Worth Western Hills, Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis and Fort Worth Dunbar are opting up to Class 4A Division I.

Eagle Mountain, after spending the last two seasons in Class 4A Division II, rose all the way to Class 5A Division II.
